In her first post on April 11, 2025, Van Duyne emphasized the importance of extending the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017. She stated, "We must extend the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017, as they are crucial to helping our American small businesses."

Later that day, Van Duyne expressed her support for the SAVE Act, noting its significance for maintaining the integrity of U.S. elections. She shared, "This week, we voted to pass the SAVE Act, to protect our democracy and restore election integrity! It’s simple, only American citizens should vote in our U.S. elections."

In another tweet on the same day, the congresswoman commended ICE Houston for arresting a criminal illegal alien in Tarrant County, highlighting the agency's role in community safety. She stated, "ICE Houston captured a criminal illegal alien that was convicted of a heinous crime against a child in Tarrant County. I am glad that ICE is getting these criminals off our streets and making our communities safer."

Van Duyne has served in the U.S. Congress since 2021, succeeding Kenny Marchant. Born in Ithaca, New York, in 1970, she resides in Irving and holds a Bachelor's degree from Cornell University.
