Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett, representing Texas' 30th district, recently expressed concerns over several issues through social media posts. Known for her active engagement on platforms like X, she delved into matters ranging from climate risks intensified by policy changes to the rhetoric surrounding immigration policies.

In a tweet on April 7, 2025, Crockett highlighted the severity of Texas' climate conditions by stating, "Texas weather is extreme—and climate change is only making it worse." She raised alarms about the reliance of nearly 120,000 Texans on the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP), which she claims was almost entirely dismantled by RFK Jr., emphasizing the decision's potentially dire consequences.

Another post from April 8, 2025, was directed at former President Donald Trump's immigration strategy. Crockett critiqued the proposal to enforce fines on migrants and confiscate their property. She pointed out, “Let’s be clear: Trump’s plan to fine migrants $998 a DAY and steal their property is NOT about border security." She further asserted that the plan was rooted in fear-driven rhetoric, which she associated with fascism.

Later that day, Crockett commented on a hearing by the DOGE Oversight Subcommittee concerning federal property management. Her tweet read, "Today, the DOGE Oversight Subcommittee held a hearing about reducing federal property." Crockett criticized the focus on so-called "fire sales" and accused leadership of wasteful practices, mentioning spending on personal pursuits such as golfing.
