Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett, representing Texas' 30th district, recently expressed her commitment to educational and social issues through a series of tweets.

On April 15, 2025, Congresswoman Crockett shared her reflections following a visit to Billy Earl Dade Middle School. She tweeted, "Yesterday’s visit to Billy Earl Dade Middle School reminded me why I fight so hard. These kids deserve the world—and I’ll keep showing up to make sure they get it."

In another post on the same day, Congresswoman Crockett highlighted the reliance of over 4.6 million Texans on Social Security. She expressed concern about attempts to cut the program, stating, "In Texas, over 4.6 million people rely on Social Security. We’re talking about our elders, our neighbors with disabilities, and families who depend on these benefits to stay afloat. Republicans keep trying to gut the program you paid into your entire life—but protecting Social."

Later, on April 15, 2025, she addressed a recent incident at Wilmer-Hutchins High School, where another shooting occurred. She conveyed her grief, saying, "I am heartbroken to learn of yet another shooting at Wilmer-Hutchins High School—nearly one year after the last. My prayers are with the students, teachers, and families who are once again forced to live through this nightmare. No child should fear for their life at school. No."

Jasmine Crockett has served in the U.S. Congress, representing Texas`s 30th District, since 2023. She previously served in the Texas House of Representatives from 2021 to 2023.
