Collin County home prices rose in March 2025 compared to March 2024

In March, the median sale price of a home in Collin County rose by $1,639 from the same period in the previous year, while total sales increased by 1.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

There were 819 homes sold in March, with a median sale price of $327,063 — a 0.5% increase over the $325,424 median sale price during the same period of the previous year. In comparison, 810 homes were sold in Collin County in March 2024.

The U.S. housing market has surged in recent years, with its total value approaching $50 trillion in 2024—nearly five times its value in 2000.

“The value of America’s housing market will likely cross the $50 trillion threshold in the next 12 months as there are not enough homes being listed to push prices down,” said Redfin Economics Research Lead Chen Zhao.
