Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne, representing Texas' 24th district since 2021, recently shared her activities and engagements through a series of tweets. Van Duyne, who has been an active member of the U.S. Congress, replaced Kenny Marchant in 2021. Born in Ithaca, New York, she currently resides in Irving and is a Cornell University alumna.

On March 16, 2025, Van Duyne expressed her pleasure at meeting Farmers Branch Mayor Pro Tem Omar Roman during his visit to Washington. She emphasized the importance of discussions with North Texas leaders about supporting the community: "Glad to see Farmers Branch Mayor Pro Tem Omar Roman in Washington. I always enjoy getting to meet with North Texas leaders to discuss ways to support our #TX24 community!"

The following day, on March 17, 2025, Van Duyne noted a positive trend in egg prices at local grocery stores and extended gratitude towards local farmers and Secretary of Agriculture for their contributions: "For the third straight week, egg prices continue to drop! This was taken at our local Kroger. Thank you to our Texas farmers, ranchers, and Fort Worth’s own, Secretary of Agriculture, @SecRollins!"

Later that day on St. Patrick's Day, Van Duyne shared her recent interactions with prominent Irish figures including Irish Prime Minister Micheál Martin and others celebrating the relationship between the United States and Ireland: "Happy St. Patrick’s Day! I was glad to spend some time with Irish Prime Minister @MichealMartinTD, Irish Ambassador @IrelandAmbUSA, U.S. Ambassador to Ireland nominee Ed Walsh, and @MichaelFlatley recently to celebrate the special friendship between our nations!"
