Jasmine Crockett, a U.S. Congresswoman representing Texas' 30th district, has taken to social media to express her views on various issues. Serving in Congress since 2023, Crockett has a background in law and politics, with previous experience in the Texas House of Representatives. She was born in St Louis, Missouri, and currently resides in Dallas.

On March 8, 2025, Crockett commemorated International Women's Day by highlighting women's achievements throughout history. She stated, "Women don’t wait for change, we make it. We’ve broken barriers, made history, and fought for justice every step of the way." She emphasized the importance of continuing this fight for future generations.

Later that day, Crockett criticized certain actions by prominent figures such as Donald Trump and Elon Musk. In her tweet posted at 18:12 UTC, she remarked on workforce reductions under their influence while alleging misuse of government resources. "While Trump and Musk DOGE cut the federal workforce and federal contracts leaving thousands of Americans unemployed," she noted the irony of Elon Musk's family benefiting from free flights on Air Force.

In another post at 18:38 UTC on the same day, Crockett addressed Trump's stance on student loan forgiveness programs compared to his own financial history. She wrote, "Nothing screams HYPOCRITE quite like Trump complaining about & gutting school loan forgiveness for grads dedicated to service & bettering our communities while he’s had MILLIONS in debt forgiven due bankruptcy 6 times."
