Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Texas' 30th district since 2023, recently expressed her views on social media regarding various political issues. Crockett succeeded Eddie Bernice Johnson and previously served in the Texas House of Representatives from 2021 to 2023.

On March 5, 2025, Crockett commented on former President Donald Trump's plans concerning employment at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). She stated, "Trump is looking to cut over 80k jobs at VA because, per his advisors, they’re 'not fit to have a job at this moment.' If ANYONE isn’t fit for service it’s a man convicted of 34 felonies."

Later that day, she addressed discussions held during a meeting with Oversight Democrats. On March 5, she noted that her colleagues were adhering to their usual narrative by blaming immigrants for crime and accusing Democratic mayors of leniency. Crockett questioned their ability to recall any specific immigrant with a criminal record in her post: "In @OversightDems today, my colleagues stuck to their usual script: blaming immigrants for all crime & claiming Dem mayors are too soft. Well, I was curious to know if they’ve ever had an immigrant with a criminal record that they could recall."

On March 8, 2025, Crockett shared news about upcoming federal funds aimed at ensuring safety during the FIFA World Cup games scheduled for Texas in 2026. Her tweet read: "TX-30 looks forward to receiving the Congressionally authorized funds to make the 2026 FIFA games safe and secure!"
