Dallas’ Office of Welcoming Communities and Immigrant Affairs has created the Emma Lazarus Resilience Fund through a partnership with the Open Society Foundations and Community Foundations of Texas, which will help immigrant and refugee families that have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Entrepreneurs in Dallas will share in a $5 million Revive Dallas Small Business Relief Fund, with minority- and women-owned businesses being the focus.
A final judgment signed by Dallas County Judge Craig Smith determined that $44.5 million is owed to Trinity East Energy, an oil exploration firm, by the City of Dallas.
