Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne, a representative of Texas's 24th district since 2021, has recently addressed several legislative and law enforcement issues through her social media platform. Her communication during early April 2025 focused on significant government actions and legislative initiatives.

On April 9, 2025, Van Duyne commended an operation led by law enforcement agencies for successfully confiscating a large quantity of illegal drugs. She stated, "Job well done @FBIDirectorKash! With collaboration of our government agencies, they seized 48,400 pounds of illicit narcotics in Port Everglades. Keeping Americans safe!".

Later that day, she turned her attention to judiciary matters expressing concerns over certain judicial actions that she perceived as overreach against the Trump Administration. She advocated for legislative changes through the No Rogue Rulings Act, as declared in her tweet, "We must reign in rogue judges who are waging lawfare against the Trump Administration actions that the American people voted for! The No Rogue Rulings Act would limit the power of district judges and ensure their rulings only apply to parties involved in a case, and not to be".

On April 10, 2025, Van Duyne noted her support for a legislative measure aimed at restoring balance within the judiciary. She conveyed, "Proud to vote for this important legislation to bring common sense to an out-of-control Judiciary that exceeded its authority and was weaponized against the Trump Administration and the rule of law!".

Beth Van Duyne was born in Ithaca, New York, in 1970 and currently resides in Irving, Texas. A graduate of Cornell University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1995, she took office, succeeding Kenny Marchant, and has been an active legislative voice within Congress.
