Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne, representing Texas’ 24th District, took to social media to highlight local accomplishments and events she partook in. Van Duyne, a Cornell University alumna, has been serving in the U.S. Congress since 2021 after replacing Kenny Marchant. Her district includes parts of North Texas, and she is known for engaging with her community through various initiatives.

On April 4, 2025, Van Duyne spotlighted a local student's efforts on her social media. "This week’s #TX24 Hometown Hero is @jesuitdallas senior, Thomas Owen. Thomas is organizing a graduation party for local North Texans to raise money for Make-A-Wish North Texas, using his entrepreneurial skills to make a difference in our community."

Later the same day, Van Duyne shared details of a family event she hosted. "This week, I hosted our office's second annual Family Fly-In! I enjoyed spending time with the North Texas families who were able to visit our nation's capital. Thank you to all the families that joined us for this once-in-a-lifetime event!"

On April 5, 2025, Van Duyne commented on national job growth figures. " 228,000 new jobs added in March 2025! It is evident that President Trump’s leadership has helped strengthen the American private sector."
