Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett, representing Texas’ 30th district in the U.S. Congress, has raised concerns about security breaches involving sensitive information and the potential access of personal data by unauthorized individuals. Through a series of tweets, she expressed her apprehensions regarding these issues.

On February 14, 2025, Crockett addressed a security concern involving Elon Musk and DOGE. She stated that "Thanks to Elon Musk and DOGE, our adversaries now have access to sensitive information about one of our intelligence agencies." She further asserted that "Elon Musk and DOGE staff should NOT have access to sensitive national security information."

In another tweet on February 17, 2025, Crockett reiterated her concerns over a recent incident involving DOGE. She reminded the public that "DOGE’s crack team of ‘geniuses’ accidentally posted sensitive information about the employees of one of America’s intelligence agencies just two days ago." She warned that this situation is "a disaster in the making."

Additionally, on February 17, 2025, Crockett highlighted another issue regarding privacy risks posed by certain individuals seeking access to taxpayer information. She described this group as "unqualified, unelected bureaucrats, including a teenager with alleged links to hacker groups," who are attempting to gain access to personal identifying information of every U.S. taxpayer.
