Beth Van Duyne, a U.S. Congresswoman representing Texas’ 24th district since 2021, has taken to social media to express her views on several issues related to border security and accountability in government actions. Her comments were made through a series of tweets on February 18, 2025.

In one of her posts, Congresswoman Van Duyne shared a message that included emojis and tagged prominent figures such as Kristi Noem, Tom Homan, the President of the United States (POTUS), and the White House.

Later that day, she expressed gratitude towards certain leaders for addressing what she perceives as long-standing issues with the Biden Administration's approach to border control. In her tweet at 20:36 UTC, she stated: "For years, I demanded accountability for the Biden Administration serving alongside cartels and human traffickers to flood our country. Thanks to @POTUS @realDonaldTrump, @RealTomHoman, @DOGE, and @ElonMusk, we finally have that accountability."

Further emphasizing her stance on border security responsibilities, Van Duyne criticized federal inaction while commending Texas' efforts under Governor Abbott's leadership. At 21:50 UTC she tweeted: "Border security is the responsibility of the federal government but thanks to the Biden administration refusing to do its job, Texas had to step up. Governor Abbott spent $11 billion to protect our citizens, significantly decreasing illegal crossings."
