On February 14, 2025, Van Duyne expressed her appreciation for Chairman Jodey Arrington's efforts in advancing a budget resolution. She stated: "I’m grateful for the work of my fellow Texan, Chairman @RepArrington, for his tremendous achievement of advancing a budget resolution that cuts reckless federal spending and extends tax cuts for working families."

Later that day, she recognized retired Chief Mike Young as the #TX24 Hometown Hero. In her tweet from February 14, 2025, she acknowledged his service: "This week’s #TX24 Hometown Hero is retired @NRHPD Chief Mike Young, who spent the last 40 years protecting and serving our community."

In another post on February 14, 2025, Congresswoman Van Duyne extended her gratitude to Lieutenant Marshall Urbanosky upon his retirement. She remarked: "Thank you to Lieutenant Marshall Urbanosky for your decades of service to North Texas. Congratulations on your retirement!"
