Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett, who represents Texas’ 30th district in the U.S. Congress, has recently shared her concerns through a series of tweets regarding actions by Republicans and notable figures such as Donald Trump and Elon Musk. These statements highlight her apprehensions about potential policy changes and their implications for constituents.

On February 14, 2025, Congresswoman Crockett expressed concern about Republican intentions regarding Social Security. She stated, "Now that they're in power, Republicans have stopped pretending that they're not going to cut Social Security. They're coming for your social security checks. They're coming for your retirement. This was always the plan."

Later that day, she reached out to residents and federal employees in Texas’ 30th district affected by casework delays due to recent purges. She invited those impacted to contact her office for assistance, stating "If you live in Texas 30 & experience casework delays as a result of these purges, I want to hear from you... Please contact my office."

In another tweet on the same date, Crockett raised alarms over efforts by Trump and Musk aimed at terminating over 100,000 civil servants nationwide, including more than 1,000 Veterans Affairs employees. She warned that these actions could severely impact governmental functions: "Purges are happening at SBA, Energy, Education & more... Firing this many critical employees at once could make it impossible for our government to provide BASIC services."
