Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne, representing Texas' 24th District since 2021, shared updates on her recent activities through a series of tweets. These posts highlighted her engagement with local students and veterans and addressed international trade issues.

On February 1, 2025, Van Duyne expressed her delight in meeting some of the brightest students from Texas' 24th District as they celebrated the winners of the 2024 Congressional App Challenge. She congratulated Cody from George Dawson Middle School and Athena from Hockaday School for their achievements. "It was an honor to meet some of #TX24’s brightest students this week as we celebrated the winners of our 2024 Congressional App Challenge!"

Later that day, Van Duyne acknowledged local heroes by presenting a Congressional Veteran Commendation to Air Force Colonel Gavin Tade of Southlake. She encouraged others to nominate veterans for recognition. "Recognizing our Texas-24 heroes with a Congressional Veteran Commendation is always an honor."

In another post on February 1, Van Duyne commented on international relations concerning tariffs and drug trafficking. She criticized countries for not partnering effectively to stop the flow of fentanyl into the United States, highlighting Mexico's role in particular. "The imposition of tariffs today was completely avoidable - all these countries had to do was serve as partners in stopping the flow of deadly fentanyl that has killed over 200,000 Americans."
