On January 23, 2025, Congresswoman Crockett criticized a bill pushed by Republicans. She stated: "Republicans just pushed a bill that spreads lies about abortions, criminalizes doctors using their best medical judgment to treat patients in need, and strips families' ability to decide how to act in situations where a baby won't survive long outside the womb."

Later the same day, she expressed her views on birthright citizenship. On January 23, 2025, she tweeted: "The Constitution is crystal clear: if you're born on American soil, you're an American citizen. I'm grateful there are still some within our justice system who refuse to abandon their oath of office to uphold this sacred document, even if Donald Trump has."

In another tweet dated January 24, 2025, Congresswoman Crockett turned her attention to former President Trump's executive orders. She stated: "Let's get into Trump's Executive Orders that threaten our national security— buckle up y'all."
