Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne, representing Texas' 24th district since 2021, recently shared a series of tweets outlining her political agenda and views. Van Duyne has been active in Congress following her replacement of Kenny Marchant. She was born in Ithaca, New York, in 1970 and graduated from Cornell University with a BA in 1995.

On December 3, 2024, Congresswoman Van Duyne expressed her anticipation for collaborating with President Trump to bring changes to Washington. She emphasized her goals to "shake up things," reduce excessive government spending, and empower the American people. "I’m looking forward to working with President Trump to shake up things in Washington, slash out-of-control government spending, and give power back to the American people."

The following day on December 4, she shared insights from a meeting with North Texans affiliated with U.S. Bank. The discussion centered around her legislative plans for the upcoming year, focusing on artificial intelligence and healthcare innovations within North Texas. Additionally, she mentioned efforts to expand the Trump Tax Cuts initiated in 2017. "I enjoyed meeting with North Texans from @usbank to discuss my legislative agenda for the new year, AI and healthcare innovations in North Texas, as well as my work to extend and expand the 2017 Trump Tax Cuts."

Later that day on December 4, Van Duyne highlighted North Texas's reputation as an excellent place for living and working. She praised Dallas for its vibrant community filled with young professionals and entrepreneurs thriving within it. "North Texas continues to be ranked one of the best places to live, work, and raise a family! Dallas is full of life with young professionals and entrepreneurs who thrive in our community."
