Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett, who represents Texas' 30th district in the U.S. Congress, has recently shared her thoughts on various topics through a series of tweets. Elected to Congress in 2023, Crockett succeeded Eddie Bernice Johnson and previously served in the Texas House of Representatives from 2021 to 2023.

On December 12, 2024, Congresswoman Crockett expressed gratitude towards her colleagues for their collaborative efforts. She stated: "Thank you to Congressman Fry and Senators Cornyn, Hassan and Peters for helping make this a reality. I look forward to building on this work in the 119th Congress."

The following day, December 13, 2024, she commemorated the signing of the Respect for Marriage Act into law. She highlighted its significance by stating: "OTD, the Respect for Marriage Act was signed into law, securing marriage equality for all Americans. While MAGA Republicans continue to push policies that threaten equality and undermine basic freedoms, Democrats stand firm in protecting LGBTQ+ rights. Love is love!"

Later that same day, Crockett paid tribute to Yolande Cornelia "Nikki" Giovanni. She acknowledged Giovanni's contributions with these words: "Soror Yolande Cornelia 'Nikki' Giovanni was a revolutionary woman whose powerful work inspired the world. She was a Distinguished Professor at Virginia Tech & earned hundreds of awards & honors throughout her career. May her legacy be an example of scholarship & social action."
