Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett, representing Texas' 30th district in the U.S. Congress since 2023, shared her views on several important issues through a series of tweets. Crockett, who succeeded Eddie Bernice Johnson and previously served in the Texas House of Representatives, addressed legislative proposals, commemorative events, and cultural heritage.

On November 20, 2024, Congresswoman Crockett expressed concerns about a Republican-backed bill aimed at terminating government workers involved in diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. She questioned the rationale behind such measures by asking: "How does firing qualified workers and Veterans improve efficiency?"

Later that day, she marked Trans Day of Remembrance by honoring transgender individuals lost to anti-trans violence. Emphasizing the importance of their stories not being erased, she stated: "I’m proud to be an original cosponsor designating Nov. 20th as Transgender Day of Remembrance & stands against violence. We won’t forget you."

On November 21, 2024, during Native American Heritage Month, Crockett highlighted the significant contributions of Native Americans to the nation’s history and future with her statement: "During Native American Heritage Month, we recognize and honor the countless ways that Native Americans have shaped this nation’s past, present and future."
