Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne, representing Texas' 24th district since 2021, recently shared her views and activities on social media. Her comments touched upon economic policy, youth engagement, and a legal exchange involving the Department of Justice.

On November 19, 2024, Van Duyne criticized House Democrats for their role in passing what she referred to as the "Inflation Reduction Act." She claimed that this legislation "caused inflation to soar," allocated significant taxpayer funds to special interests and adversaries such as China, and increased bureaucratic layers. "Three years ago, House Democrats passed the foundation for their so-called 'Inflation Reduction Act' that caused inflation to soar, gave hundreds of billions of taxpayer dollars to special interests and adversaries like China, and created new layers of bureaucracy."

Later that day, Van Duyne highlighted a positive experience at a Youth Advisory meeting. She praised students for selecting issues they were passionate about and presenting strong arguments to their peers. "Another great Youth Advisory meeting in the books! Students chose an issue they were passionate about and presented strong arguments to their peers."

In another post from November 19, Van Duyne referenced a statement by Jim Jordan concerning document retention directives from the Department of Justice (DOJ). The post suggested non-compliance from the DOJ with Jordan's request. ".@Jim_Jordan: 'Retain your documents.' DOJ: 'Ain’t no way, bro.'
