Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett, representing Texas’ 30th district, recently shared her thoughts on various issues through a series of tweets. These posts touched upon healthcare access for DACA recipients in Texas, the importance of preserving Black history education, and a judicial decision affecting worker compensation.

On November 15, 2024, Congresswoman Crockett highlighted the impact of President Biden's policy allowing DACA recipients to purchase healthcare insurance via the ACA Marketplace. She emphasized that there are "90,000 DACA recipients - people who have never known any home but the United States! - in Texas." Crockett urged eligible individuals not to delay and to secure coverage now. "There are 90,000 DACA recipients - people who have never known any home but the United States! - in Texas."

Later that day, Crockett reflected on an emotional encounter with Black Home Educators. She expressed admiration for their dedication and the enthusiasm observed among students. She stated firmly that they will not allow censorship of Black history in educational settings. "I had an incredibly emotional visit yesterday with these fantastic Black Home Educators."

In another tweet from November 15, Congresswoman Crockett addressed a court ruling regarding overtime eligibility expansion for workers under President Biden’s administration. The policy intended to extend overtime pay protections to four million additional workers was overturned by a judge appointed by former President Donald Trump. "Biden's policy would have expanded overtime eligibility to 4 million workers."
