Residents to receive free trees on Dallas Arbor Day from City’s Branch Out Dallas

DALLAS - Dallas Water Utilities will be hosting the fifth annual Branch Out Dallas event on Dallas Arbor Day, Saturday, Nov. 4, 2023.

Residents who registered for the Branch Out Dallas tree giveaway program will receive a free 5-gallon tree.

Dallas residents chose from six tree species: bur oak, sycamore, American elm, Mexican plum, Shumard oak and lacebark elm. Over 2,600 trees will be distributed.



When	Saturday, Nov. 4, 2023, 9:00 a.m. – noon
Where	Dallas residents who registered will pick up their trees from six distribution locations: Shelton School at 17301 Preston Road Marsh Lane Baptist Church at 10716 Marsh Lane Bishop Lynch High School at 9750 Ferguson Road Tyler Street Church at 927 W. 10th Street Cristo Rey Dallas College Prep Innovation Center at 9701 San Leon Avenue St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic School at 4019 S. Hampton Road
