Code aims to reach Dallas residents at all 28 City of Dallas library locations

Whether if it’s to check out a good book, do research, or utilize the internet services, the city of Dallas has a vast amount of libraries residents visit everyday. In an effort to meet with more residents in Dallas, Code Compliance Services launched the department’s Code at the Library initiative.

The goal is for Code staff to be able to speak with Dallas residents across the city’s 28 libraries. Residents who meet with Code will learn more about:

  • How to file service requests/complaints through 311
  • Getting answers to questions or complaints they may have
  • Information about Code programs and resources
  • Job opportunities within the department
Code has already made stops at libraries across the city with more planned in the current weeks.

To find out where staff will visit next, follow Code Compliance Services on social media.
