Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne, representing Texas' 24th district since 2021, shared her thoughts on recent developments through a series of tweets. Born in Ithaca, New York, and a Cornell University graduate, Van Duyne currently resides in Irving.

On March 18, 2025, she expressed her views on the space program under the current administration: "Didn’t need a new program to bring the astronauts home, just needed a new President working with Elon Musk and SpaceX!"

Later that day, she highlighted her visit to Darling Ingredients in Irving: "Appreciated the chance to tour Darling Ingredients, the world’s leading developer and producer of sustainable organic ingredients, at their headquarters right here in Irving. We discussed their cutting-edge solutions to repurpose and recycle materials into essential ingredients…"

On March 19, 2025, Van Duyne celebrated Nasdaq's decision to establish its second U.S. headquarters in Dallas: "So excited that Nasdaq chose Dallas for its second U.S. headquarters!
