Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne, representing Texas' 24th district since 2021, shared her thoughts and recent activities through a series of tweets on March 16, 2025. Van Duyne has been an active member of Congress, succeeding Kenny Marchant in 2021. Born in Ithaca, New York in 1970, she now resides in Irving and holds a BA from Cornell University.

On March 16, Van Duyne expressed her views on the current political climate via Twitter. She stated that "We are at a unique time in history where we have a President and Congress ready to get the waste, fraud, and abuse under control." She criticized Democrats for defending these issues instead of focusing on solutions.

Later that day, Van Duyne announced the introduction of new legislation aimed at economic growth. She tweeted about the GROWTH Act: "ICYMI: I introduced the GROWTH Act to empower Americans to create wealth by simplifying the tax code..." This act is designed to simplify taxation and promote personal savings.

In another tweet from March 16, Van Duyne shared her experience attending an event honoring Jerry Jones. She mentioned "I had a wonderful time attending the Park Cities Quail Coalition dinner and auction where Jerry Jones was honored with the 2025 T. Boone Pickens Lifetime Sportsmans Award." The event celebrated Jones' contributions to outdoor sportsmanship.
