On February 10, 2025, Congresswoman Van Duyne expressed concern about fraudulent activities that occurred during the pandemic. She stated: "Bad actors and international criminal gangs took advantage of good-faith efforts to help Americans during the pandemic. On @WaysandMeansGOP, we’re working to hold these criminals accountable and claw back as much of these stolen funds!"

Later that day, Van Duyne mentioned a personal interaction with a former local official. She tweeted: "It was great catching up with a fellow North Texan and friend, former Flower Mound Mayor Derek France! Love having the chance to see familiar faces while in Washington!"

On February 11, 2025, Van Duyne highlighted her collaboration with colleagues and tech industry leaders to improve governmental efficiency. She remarked: "I’m working with my @HouseGOP colleagues and @DOGE to cut waste, fraud, and abuse from our government. At this critical juncture, we should welcome @ElonMusk’s efforts to help us save taxpayer money, pay down our national debt, and make our economy prosperous again!"
