On February 7, 2025, Crockett emphasized the significance of PEPFAR, a bipartisan program that has "saved over 26 million lives worldwide since 2003." She expressed concern about the program's future due to "Trump's funding freeze" and called on him to "unfreeze PEPFAR now" on National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day. On February 8, Crockett highlighted healthcare accessibility issues in Texas despite having some of the best hospitals in the country.
