On February 7, 2025, Congresswoman Crockett announced her involvement in the introduction of the Protecting Sensitive Locations Act. She stated, "Yesterday, I along with @RepEspaillat, @SenBlumenthal and other Dems co-led the Protecting Sensitive Locations Act to protect families and kids in schools, churches, and hospitals from ICE raids." She also mentioned a discussion about this act with Rachel Maddow.
Later that day, she addressed ethical concerns regarding government employees. She tweeted "It's ILLEGAL for special gov't employees to do gov't work that affects their own financial interests! Musk's companies got $3.3 BILLION in US gov't contracts in 2024..." highlighting potential conflicts of interest involving Elon Musk's companies and called for an investigation by the Department of Justice.
