On January 22, 2025, Crockett commented on former President Trump's executive order suspending refugee admissions for 90 days. She highlighted the potential repercussions of this policy, stating "Trump's 'Refugee' order suspends refugee admissions for 90 days. Impacts: Refugees forced to return to dangerous situations, economic decline in American towns revitalized by refugee communities (10/11)".
Later that day, she reflected on the anniversary of Roe v. Wade and its subsequent overturning by the Dobbs decision in 2022. She remarked "52 years ago, Roe v. Wade secured the reproductive rights women fought for. In 2022, Dobbs overturned it & 22 states restricted our freedoms. 2 days ago, Trump took down https://t.co/MNOXv0iI9f. But @ReproCaucus will continue to share abortion resources. Your body, your choice!".
In another tweet posted shortly after, Crockett criticized efforts to dismantle Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) programs via executive order. She stated "DEI programs were created to give everyone who meet objective standards a fair shot at serving our country. Diversity has changed America for the BETTER. Rolling back these programs and offices with an executive order is completely disgraceful."
