On January 22, 2025, Congresswoman Crockett stated that "Yesterday, Trump signed more executive orders on Inauguration Day than any President in history." She announced her intention to break down what she described as "Trump's attacks on your rights and freedoms," starting with immigration rights and birthright citizenship.
In another tweet posted the same day, Crockett discussed Trump's 'Alien Enemies' order. She noted that this order "resurrects the law that detained Japanese-Americans in internment camps during WWII and allows President to detain/deport natives & citizens of an 'enemy nation'."
