On November 25, 2024, Van Duyne expressed gratitude towards an intern named Alex. She mentioned that Alex grew up in the Dallas area and is currently attending college in Washington D.C. "Alex, who grew up in the Dallas area and attends college in D.C., interned with us this semester. Thank you, Alex, for your work serving #TX24!"

Later that day, she acknowledged Chief Warrant Officer Robert Hohman from Irving for his service in the U.S. Army from 1969 to 1996. Van Duyne noted it was her pleasure to honor him with a Vietnam Lapel Pin this year. "Chief Warrant Officer Robert Hohman, resident of Irving, served in the U.S. Army from 1969-1996. On November 26, 2024, she met with Brad Winges, President and CEO of HTS Financial in Dallas. They discussed her efforts to expand the Trump tax cuts from 2017 to provide relief for working families and job creators.
