There were 226 multiracial students enrolled in Highland Park ISD schools in the 2022-23 school year, 2.3% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that Highland Park ISD schools welcomed 6,551 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, multiracial students comprised 3.4% of the student body to be one of the least represented ethnicities in the district.

Highland Park ISD roughly covers schools within Dallas County and has a main office in Dallas.

Among the eight schools in Highland Park ISD schools, Highland Park High School recorded the highest enrollment of multiracial students in the 2022-23 school year, with a total of 58 students.

Texas is found to be one of the least-educated states in the U.S. A study from WalletHub ranked Texas 41st out of 50 states in terms of the quality of the educational system and how successful students were.

More than 5.4 million students are enrolled in public schools across Texas. Nearly one million of them live in rural areas where options for local public schools are few and far between.
