Enrollment Analysis: white students comprised 2.6% of Cityscape Schools District's student body in 2022-23 school year

There were 32 white students enrolled in Cityscape Schools District in the 2022-23 school year, 10.3% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that Cityscape Schools District welcomed 1,245 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, white students comprised 2.6% of the student body to be one of the least represented ethnicities in the district.

Cityscape Schools District roughly covers schools within Dallas County and has a main office in Dallas.

Among the two schools in Cityscape Schools District, East Grand Preparatory Academy recorded the highest enrollment of white students in the 2022-23 school year, with a total of 24 students.

The Texas education system is currently torn between public schools and taxpayer-funded private schools.

Critics argue that private schools use funds that should go to the public school system, while private school advocates claim they’re offering better education for more Texas students.
