Enrollment Analysis: American Indian students comprised 0.4% of Richland Collegiate High School District's student body in 2022-23 school year

There was one American Indian student enrolled in Richland Collegiate High School District in the 2022-23 school year, 50% less than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that Richland Collegiate High School District welcomed 264 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, American Indian students comprised 0.4% of the student body to be one of the least represented ethnicities in the district.

Richland Collegiate High School District roughly covers schools within Dallas County and has a main office in Dallas.

Richland Collegiate High School of Math Science Engineerin was the only school in the district which enrolled American Indian students, welcoming one student in the 2022-23 school year.

The Texas education system is currently torn between public schools and taxpayer-funded private schools.

Critics argue that private schools use funds that should go to the public school system, while private school advocates claim they’re offering better education for more Texas students.
