How many Hispanic students were enrolled in Richland Collegiate High School District in 2022-23 school year?

There were 43 Hispanic students enrolled in Richland Collegiate High School District in the 2022-23 school year, 20.4% less than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that Richland Collegiate High School District welcomed 264 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, Hispanic students comprised 16.3% of the student body to be one of the least represented ethnicities in the district.

Richland Collegiate High School District roughly covers schools within Dallas County and has a main office in Dallas.

Richland Collegiate High School of Math Science Engineerin was the only school in the district which enrolled Hispanic students, welcoming 43 students in the 2022-23 school year.

The Texas education system is currently torn between public schools and taxpayer-funded private schools.

Critics argue that private schools use funds that should go to the public school system, while private school advocates claim they’re offering better education for more Texas students.
