There were three multiracial students enrolled in the Academy for Academic Excellence School District in the 2022-23 school year, 40% less than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that the Academy for Academic Excellence School District welcomed 358 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, multiracial students comprised 0.8% of the student body to be one of the least represented ethnicities in the district.

The Academy for Academic Excellence School District roughly covers schools within Dallas County and has a main office in Dallas.

Among the four schools in the Academy for Academic Excellence School District, Dallas County Juvenile Justice recorded the highest enrollment of multiracial students in the 2022-23 school year, with a total of two students.

Texas is found to be one of the least-educated states in the U.S. A study from WalletHub ranked Texas 41st out of 50 states in terms of the quality of the educational system and how successful students were.

More than 5.4 million students are enrolled in public schools across Texas. Nearly one million of them live in rural areas where options for local public schools are few and far between.
