There were 65 Hispanic students enrolled in the Academy of Dallas School District in the 2022-23 school year, 41.3% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that the Academy of Dallas School District welcomed 269 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, Hispanic students comprised 24.2% of the student body to be one of the most represented ethnicities in the district.

The Academy of Dallas School District roughly covers schools within Dallas County and has a main office in Dallas.

Academy of Dallas was the only school in the district which enrolled Hispanic students, welcoming 65 students in the 2022-23 school year.

The Texas education system is currently torn between public schools and taxpayer-funded private schools.

Critics argue that private schools use funds that should go to the public school system, while private school advocates claim they’re offering better education for more Texas students.
