January Celebrations and Holiday Closures
Dallas Park and Recreation administrative offices, maintenance facilities, and recreation centers will be closed Monday, January 1, 2024. Normal business operations resume Tuesday, January 2, 2024. In honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, administrative offices, maintenance facilities, and recreation centers will be closed Monday, January 15. Normal business operations resume Tuesday, January 16, 2024.

Pickleball Is For Everyone
Ross Neal recently shared his inspiring journey in his recently published children's book "No Bee Like Me." In it, he recounts his struggles with autism and the challenges of finding a suitable outlet for his energy. Three years ago, Ross discovered pickleball, a sport that became his source of joy and physical activity but also a supportive community at Fretz and Timberglen recreation centers.
