There were 1,256 students enrolled in Cityscape Schools in the 2021-22 school year, 4.3% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2021-22 school year, 52.5% of them were girls, and 47.5% were boys.

Data also shows that the majority of students were Hispanic, representing 81.9% of the Cityscape Schools total enrollment.

Cityscape Schools roughly covers schools within Dallas County with its main office in Dallas.

Among the two schools in Cityscape Schools, East Grand Preparatory Academy recorded the highest enrollment of 943 students in the 2021-22 school year.

The Texas education system is currently torn between public schools and taxpayer-funded private schools.

Critics argue that private schools use funds that should go to the public school system, while private school advocates claim they’re offering better education for more Texas students.
