There were 654 students enrolled in Gateway Charter Academy in the 2021-22 school year, 16.5% less than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2021-22 school year, 50.6% of them were boys, and 49.4% were girls.

Data also shows that the majority of students were African American, representing 96.5% of the Gateway Charter Academy total enrollment.

Gateway Charter Academy roughly covers schools within Dallas County with its main office in Dallas.

Among the two schools in Gateway Charter Academy, Gateway Charter Academy recorded the highest enrollment of 427 students in the 2021-22 school year.

Texas is found to be one of the least-educated states in the U.S. A study from WalletHub ranked Texas 41st out of 50 states in terms of the quality of the educational system and how successful students were.
