Cost of college went up for all students at Paul Quinn College

Tuition and fees rose 5 percent for 2018-19 at Paul Quinn College, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Texas students paid $8,920 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $425 more than the $8,495 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 147 students received grants or scholarships totaling $848,952 and 118 students took out student loans totaling more than $302,183.

Including all undergraduates (550), 487 students used grants or scholarships totaling $4.6 million, and 411 students took out $2.4 million in federal student loans.
