Cost of college went up for all students at Criswell College

Tuition and fees rose 8.6 percent for 2018-19 at Criswell College, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Texas students paid $10,710 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $852 more than the $9,858 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 67 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 9 students received grants or scholarships totaling $65,046 and 7 students took out student loans totaling more than $35,134.

Including all undergraduates (236), 127 students used grants or scholarships totaling $631,385, and 93 students took out $648,885 in federal student loans.
