90 percent of applicants to Paul Quinn College were admitted for fall 2018

At Paul Quinn College, 84 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 56 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Dallas enrolled 550 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. 6.5 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

61 percent of undergraduates are residents of Texas, and 39 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as Black or African American (79 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (18 percent).

The school admitted 90 percent of the 696 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 20 percent enrolled.
