Graduates earn 48 degrees from Criswell College

About 66.7 percent of the 48 degrees and certificates handed out by Criswell College in 2017-18 were to students in theology and religious vocations programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Dallas conferred 22 bachelor's degrees and 10 master's degrees in theology and religious vocations programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in bible/biblical studies. Data shows the school gave out 15 bachelor's degrees in bible/biblical studies, followed by 8 master's degrees in clinical pastoral counseling/patient counseling and 7 bachelor's degrees in "other" theological and ministerial studies.

The college enrolled 236 students for 2017-18, including 179 in undergraduate programs and 57 in graduate programs.
