Jasmine Crockett, a U.S. Congresswoman representing Texas' 30th district, has made a series of Twitter posts expressing her concerns and criticisms on political matters. Crockett, who replaced Eddie Bernice Johnson in 2023, is known for her forthright approach to various legislative and social issues.
On March 30, 2025, she addressed constitutional limits concerning term lengths, stating: "So, that’s actually not allowed…The Constitution isn’t optional, sir. This isn’t a reality show — it’s reality. Two terms, that’s it."
The following day, on March 31, 2025, Crockett criticized the House GOP for their priority choices amidst global crises: "While children starve, civilians suffer, and global crises worsen because of their cruelty, the House GOP is out here making memes and playing. This is disgusting. Who approved this?"
Later that day, Crockett denounced a proposed bill called the SAVE Act, arguing it targets women's voting rights: "The SAVE Act is yet another bogus attempt by Republicans to suppress the vote — and this time, they’re targeting women. This bill would make it damn near impossible for millions of women who changed their last name after marriage to cast a ballot."
