She stated: "Amazing to be at the White House today to watch @POTUS sign an executive order to protect women and girls by keeping men out of women’s sports! I’m so glad we have a President who is pushing back on radical transgender ideologies and standing up for common sense."
Later that day, she tweeted about her legislative efforts related to sanctuary cities. On February 5, 2025, she wrote: "This is a great start! But let’s go further! My bill, H.R. 205 will codify this by cutting off congressional funding for sanctuary cities. Looking for co-sponsors!" The tweet was directed towards the President and Pam Bondi.
In another post dated February 6, 2025, Van Duyne addressed border security concerns involving Mexican drug cartels. She remarked: "Americans have long wanted the U.S. military involved in border protection because they understand Mexican drug cartels THREATEN our national security.
