Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne, representing Texas' 24th district, shared her views on recent policy decisions through a series of tweets. Van Duyne, who succeeded Kenny Marchant in 2021, has been vocal about fiscal responsibility and immigration enforcement.

On February 6, 2025, Van Duyne expressed her support for President Biden's decision to scrutinize government spending. She stated, "I applaud @POTUS' decision to freeze potentially fraudulent spending until we know exactly where these dollars are going! The American people expect and deserve their hard-earned tax dollars to be used wisely and appropriately."

Later that day, she posted a link without additional commentary: "https://t.co/95wuMs2RQO".

In another tweet on the same day, Van Duyne addressed issues related to immigration and law enforcement. She remarked on the importance of border security and announced her legislative efforts against sanctuary cities. Her statement read: "Americans want our laws enforced, our borders secured, and criminal illegal aliens removed from our communities. As @POTUS works to deport these criminals, I’ve introduced legislation to defund sanctuary cities. Read more in my new op-ed!"
