Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne, representing Texas' 24th district since 2021, shared several statements on social media regarding her past work with immigration enforcement, opposition to a national tax program, and recognition of local community members. These posts reflect her ongoing political priorities and community engagement.

On December 11, 2024, Congresswoman Van Duyne recalled her tenure as mayor where she collaborated with ICE to deport criminal aliens. She stated that this collaboration contributed to making Irving one of the safest cities in the country. She also expressed support for President Trump's efforts in building a team focused on prioritizing deportations of individuals deemed threatening: "As a mayor, I worked closely with ICE to deport criminal aliens which led to Irving becoming one of the safest cities in the country. Later that day, Van Duyne voiced criticism against IRS bureaucrats for implementing a new national tax program she described as wasteful and invasive. Her post included an invitation to learn more about efforts to terminate what she termed an unauthorized "Direct File" scheme: "We’ve had enough of the power-hungry bureaucrats at the IRS who created a new national tax program to extend their control over the American people. Read more about our work to end this wasteful, invasive, and unauthorized “Direct File” scheme:"

In another tweet posted on December 11, 2024, Congresswoman Van Duyne congratulated Stephen Knight from Richardson for his national recognition as Hero of the Year. Knight has been sober for 13 years and runs a nonprofit organization aiding addicts by providing foster homes for their dogs during treatment: "Congratulations to Richardson resident, Stephen Knight, on his national recognition as Hero of the Year! Stephen has been sober for 13 years and runs a nonprofit that helps addicts going into treatment find foster homes for their dogs."
