Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne, representing Texas' 24th district since 2021, has recently shared her views on several contentious political issues via social media. The Congresswoman has a history of engaging in public discourse on national policies and political events.

On December 10, 2024, Van Duyne criticized the Democratic Party's approach to misinformation, alleging that it serves as a pretext for censoring American citizens. She referenced a report claiming that the Biden-Harris administration allocated at least $267 million towards research on misinformation. "Democrats have cried “misinformation” as an excuse to suppress inconvenient truths and censor Americans expressing their First Amendment rights," she stated.

Later the same day, Van Duyne addressed legal accountability concerning Hunter Biden. She suggested that Hunter Biden admitted to illegal activities but faced no repercussions due to his father's intervention. Van Duyne remarked on what she perceives as double standards in political accountability: "Hunter Biden admitted to breaking the law but won’t be held accountable because his dad decided to give him a get-out-of-jail-free card."

In another post made later that evening, Van Duyne commented on immigration enforcement issues involving local officials. She highlighted upcoming challenges regarding deportations of criminal illegal aliens and criticized San Diego County's decision to shield certain individuals from federal immigration authorities: "One of the biggest fights next year to deport criminal illegal aliens will be with radical Left local elected officials."
