There were 975 students enrolled in A.W. Brown Leadership Academy in the 2022-23 school year, 8.6% less than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 51.6% of them were girls, and 48.4% were boys.

Data also shows that the majority of students were African American, representing 91.8% of the A.W. Brown Leadership Academy total enrollment.

A.W. Brown Leadership Academy roughly covers schools within Dallas County with its main office in Dallas.

Among the two schools in A.W. Brown Leadership Academy, Quest Campus Pre-K Thru 8 recorded the highest enrollment of 545 students in the 2022-23 school year.

The Texas education system is currently torn between public schools and taxpayer-funded private schools.

Critics argue that private schools use funds that should go to the public school system, while private school advocates claim they’re offering better education for more Texas students.
